News page + RSS feed for your website
Every website we build can come with a news page – and every news page comes with a proper RSS feed for your website. Each time you publish something new, feed readers, apps, newsletters and search tools can pick it up automatically.
What you get
- A news or blog page on your website (counts as one of your 10 pages)
- A valid RSS 2.0 feed at yourbusiness.com/rss.xml
- Feed linked in the page header, so browsers and readers detect it automatically
- Every post with date, title, summary and link
- Up to 3 news posts set up at launch from your texts
- Feed ready for automation: newsletters, social media tools, Zapier and more
What an RSS feed for your website does
RSS is a simple, open format that lists your latest updates. Feed readers (like Feedly or Inoreader), news apps, podcast-style aggregators and many automation tools read it. If you announce new opening hours, a new product or an event, everyone who follows your feed sees it – without you posting it in ten places.
Good for search too
Fresh content is a strong signal that a business is active. New posts are added to your XML sitemap and your feed at the same time, so search engines notice them quickly. Each post can also include a video or photos.
See it in action
This website has its own news page and an RSS feed at /rss.xml – exactly what your site will get.
Questions
How do I publish new posts later?
Send us the text and photos by email. Small updates like news posts are published within 2 business days.
Do I need the news page?
No. If you don't want news, we use that page for something else – it's your choice.
